**CALL OF DUTY 4 MODERN WARFARE**

enjoying the game, am at the sniper mission, and could just repeat this level all day. i purposely avoided the videos of it before release even i got about 5 email from friends with the link. wow, its just wow.
 
When I joined a server with hardcore mode on I thought I had done something which got rid of crosshair etc etc
I was going to make a post on here saying what do I have to do to get them back, until a friend told me about the different mode :o

I set the claymores up from the direction they came from when he gives you 30 seconds then head to the right of the middle building so you have a clear line of sight as they appear then pick them off with your sniper, When the first group are dead head to where they came from you should find a little doorway you can walk into.

Reload the sniper and pop them as they come round the corner then if you messup you should have picked up a shotgun/Ak or something and have some frag and stun grenades to help out.
 
I placed the claymores at strategic points :)

Think where the enemy is going to go for cover? The cars...

Place claymores all over the cars, when they explode - The cars go boom and take a few ruskies with em

I did the ferris wheel mission eventually. Now I'm trying to get the launch codes to the control room.
 
The sniper level wasnt too hard, i swapped my side arm for another sniper (dragonuv) so i had 2, then placed the claymores where they exit, and on the path that they usually take. then sat under the ferris wheel and took em all out!
 
Well, I am gutted!

Having moved house a couple of months ago I now have nowhere to setup my PC and I'm stuck on an underpowered laptop. I loved the CoD franchise too.

Very, very unhappy!

That would honestly depend on if you prefer SP or MP gameplay. They're both really good.
I generally only play MP in games and completely ignore the SP.
I've played a few SP missions and they're so good I'm not going to ignore them. I'm just going to save them for a day when my net goes down or something.

For me the MP is better, even without the ranking, challenge and custom class systems it would be very good. With them it makes an amazing MP game :).
 
This game is absolutely breathtaking. Without a doubt the best game i've played since Doom 3. And that's saying something. Crysis may "apparantly" have better graphics (I debate that tbh) but this owns it well and truly in every other department.

I love CoD2, and this... well... it's got modern weapons, modern warfare, and even a storyline of sorts.

Just done the bit where the USA forces got nuked by Al'Asad - the way it goes off, then you wake up, crawl out of the plane and die. What a twist... I was like "WOW!". :D
 
Great game, im amazed at how well it runs on my old machine, and looks fantastic.

Though i only ever seem to die to bloody grenades throughout singleplayer -_-
 
Its great tho coz this would make one hell of a film to make. Its like watching a mint film but with interaction aswell! :D
 
SPOILER WARNING

I havent completed this game yet, but ive left for just 5 minutes to say 1 thing. This game is possibly the best game i have ever played, by a long shot. Im on the bit where your the SAS soldiers fighting the enemy on the bridge and the tanker blows up. TBH even tho its a game and im 21 years old, i felt for my team because the game really draws you in that much. It really is one of the best FPS games ever. WOW.

The tanker blows up, the music kicks in, your blurry eyed and your team mates dragging you. Man i wanted to just get a tissue and wipe that tear away. LOL !
