Forceware 169.09 Beta

1280x1024 all on medium, no aa, 49.3 before, 48.8 after, no difference really :)
However it did seem a bit more responsive, might as well be the placebo effect though :)

SLI is still as poor as before, that will require a patch from Crytek to fix not just a driver boost. However these seem more stable under SLI than the previous 169's since they don't keep giving the "driver recovered" message in DX10 games.

Performance in Crysis for me is still pretty poor at anything over 1600, not a hope of running it smoothly at 2560 for me yet until the patch is released.

However, UT3 engine games seem to have gained a lot as has WiC.

Stick another 2 gigs of ram in and try again, it really helped my system with crysis, Especially running vista;)

That sounds interesting, i'll check COD4 in a sec :)
I get the driver recovered messages in COD4 and once in Crysis but i don't run SLI, not sure it's purely an SLI problem?

And yes i know i should get another 2gigs, but i'm low on money right now, plus by the time the memory would get here from Overclockers i'll be too loaded up on homework to do anything.

OMG THESE DRVERS ARE THE *oi no swearing!*. ALL SETTINGS ON HIGH, POST PRO ON VERY HIGH NO AA, 1600=1050 absolutely flying lads!!!:D (Demo version)

Demo version aswell
I find it very difficult to take seriously the technical opinion of someone who clearly can't even find the shift key...:(

Come on someone must have done some tests?

Just done a quick test.

169.01's @ 1680x1050 ALL HIGH No AA = 34FPS dead.

169.09's @ 1680x1050 ALL HIGH No AA = 34.85FPS

So a teeny tiny improvement (which might have already been there in the 169.04's but I didn't test those).

2fps increase on maximum fps all i got and a headache because when i installed them from the exe file the driver wouldnt load saying they were incompatable with my version of windows and they were wrote for a older version of windows lol
rolled back to previous 169.04 then installed the 169.09 the old school way via device manager and now they work :p
