The room is rather tidy, and I believe it is a good work-area.

Nice to see you back on the forums Angus! Hopefully people will of learned their lesson to leave you and your personal methods well alone.

Question i was going to ask you, have you ever read 'Curious Incident of the dog' ?

I might do some pics of my room, depending on if i can be arsed to tidy it later!

People have far to much electrical tat in their bedrooms. We have an electric alarm clock and that's it. Bedrooms are for sleeping in and other stuff so should be nice and relaxing and free of stupid bleeping whirring electrical items...

I'm at uni, my bedroom is my study, my living room, my games room etc..........

I agree.

My bedroom contains...

a chest of drawers, a wardrobe, a shelf and a bed. Thats it. Nothing else at all.

No alarm clock?

I thought when I posted that people would jump up and down in horror saying that bedrooms should have 50" LCD TVs, games consoles, PCs, coffee machines and so on.

Nice to see somebody else on a tech forum agrees that a bedroom should be a place to relax.

We used to have a TV in there but got rid...

People have different needs and different situations, I live in a 3 bed semi-detached uni house - upstairs there's 3 rooms and a bathroom, all of the rooms are taken by my housemates, and downstairs we have a living room, 4th bedroom and a kitchen. So to be honest there isn't much space for all my electrical stuff.

If I want to watch TV, browse the net, play on my 360, I'd rather do it all in my room than force other people out of the living room for my sake.

University living tends to be different. I had my room packed full of electrical crap when @ uni.

I am older now and have my own house and love the quiet blissful sleep I get from a electrical tat free bedroom. Plus I am a very light sleeper (think one eye open) and so don't want any buzzing keeping me awake.

Mine contains a pine dresser, a bed, a chest of drawers and a box containing a gimp, but he isn't coming out until he says the safeword. Rules are rules.

When you have done with your gimp can I have a go? I have my own gimp mask and suit.

I like a mistress who is strict, but don't like pine. Got any oak? :p:D

No alarm clock?

Well, yea.

My computer room next door contains my PC's, dual monitors, Xbox 360, 6.1 speakers, blah blah blah. It's noisy but I don't care and it means my bedroom is always silent.

It's the way forward.

Mine is a right mess atm, all the drawers are packed full of stuff and clothes all over the place (not to mention fans, rads etc.). :/

It's also too small, I want to convince my parents that knocking down the wall separating my room and the spare room is a good idea :p
