Lost a few FPS in crysis, gone back to 169.09

The reason u lost a few fps is because they fixed the stretching shadows thing on the mountains.

At 22FPS with 4XAA I really cant afford to loose any FPS

Disable AA, its not even real AA in crysis apparently, its one HUGE killer, never known it so bad, disable AA, just too slow with AA.

yeah i have to admit the difference between 0AA and 2AA for me turns it from completely smooth to enough stutters to annoy me

Apparently its because of the 256bit interface of the 8800GT? I dunno though, you've got 2 of them in SLi I would expect 2xAA to belt along at 1680x1050 on your rig.

Agreed the performance boost with no AA is great, but the jaggies are trutly awful, ruins the next gen graphics imo.

TBH even with 4xAA there is still too many jaggies.

While still visible upon close inspection they are greatly smoothed down

Aye god knows what they've done with the AA in Crysis, whack it on and it feels like your using a 2900 the hits thats bad.

these drivers are a noticeable improvement from the 163.75's explosions hardly cause a dip in performance and driving vech's in crysis is smooth and no stutters

Oddly, these drivers when I installed them, swap my monitor for my tv, giving me a blank screen on my monitor. I was panicing slightly until I switched on the tv and saw my desktop there! Easy to switch back via nvidia control panel
