Hey all,
I'm not sure how many of you have been following the warranty case where a PS3 owner has been fighting with Sony to fix his PS3 which they claim is too dusty. So he emailed Consumerist and complained to the rest of the internet.
Here's the original story and here's the OcUK thread that was originally started.
The guy then rings again and asks for another opinion.
Finally, under pressure, Sony said fine and replaced his PS3. Although, they also released pictures of the dusty PS3. Wow, I'm pretty lost for words tbh. Many people agreed with the PS3 owner before Sony released pictures but I'm defiantly siding with Sony on this one. The PS3 is at the point where it stopped working due to dust damage and I can see why. This guy shouldn't get his PS3 replaced.
There's one thing keeping it in that condition but it's a whole other level when he sends it in to Sony in that state. I'd hate to see the inside of his PC.
Opps, already posted in the original thread.
