I never said that it is directly illegal, just that sexual acts in public (oral sex, hand job, intercourse, sucking on your GFs nipples, etc) are illegal to perform in public. Full on kissing, by many people standards, is a sexual act also, especially when accompanied by groping or explicit tounge action.

Certainly nothing that young children should have to see, and it is plain rude to kiss in front of other people. And the other thing is is that can upset other people. Therefore, out of respect to others, open kissing in public (in enclosed social places), should be avoided or minimized.
