Today i rang up an Employment agency to make sure my Resume i had faxed through for a certain job had got to the right person.

And it had.


BUT! The woman that is supposed to pass them on to the Employer WONT pass mine on!

Because I have a Willy:eek:

While on the phone to her she said "Sorry, im not/cant pass on your Resume because you are male and the job you want to apply for says it encourages females to apply"


So Just because it said it Encourages Females to apply, She wont hand my bloody resume in:mad:

If this was the other way around and it was a womans resume that wasn't going to be handed on because the job encourages men to apply there would be out rage!:mad:

Its only bloody factory work aswell:(
 
Phone up the prospective employer directly and ask if their policy is to discriminate against men? If not, send your CV directly to them and cut out the Agency fees.

If they do, sue them. ;)

It doesnt work like that.

You can only get a job by going through an Agency.:( (my sister usedto work there)


And no its not a womans product agency:p

Its just assembling eletrical goods and what not, nothing special but the pay is pretty reasonable.

Other guys work there aswell, but this mole at the agency wont even let me have a chance:(

They aren't requesting woman only - they are encouraging them to apply. It is up to the Employer to choose the most suitable candidate, be they male or female.
 
You could have worked harder in school and avoided this type of thing all together.
