Crysis hotfix includes the following

DirectX 10: Performance improvements
DirectX 9: Fixes Anti-Aliasing corruption seen on the ATI Radeon 2900 Series
DirectX 9: Anti-Aliasing performance enhancements
DirectX 9: Crossfire performance improvements
DirectX 9: Fixes random graphics corruption during game play

I will test it befor and after now on my 2900xt :)
Edit: WOW! 790kb/s download from that site for the XP hotfix, and im only on a 8meg connection :O My record

okay, iv had a disaster with my testing
the fix works good. but my screenshotting and making a results post did not.
photoshop messed up so i had to start again, then imageshack messed up and then id just completed my post then windows media player went bzerk because i was doing too many things at once then IE stopped responding and so on.

But the verdict: with a lot of area in view (from a hillside) fps gain 2-3, and with AA fps gain is the same.

However, i went into the jungle with lots of trees and ran 4x aa at 1680x1050, and i got 8 fps without the fix, and with the fix i got a whole 16 fps! double the fps than i had befor.

impressive

Out of interest, how to install these? Do I just install them over the top of current 7.10's or uninstall and install drivers a fresh?

I find it amazing as of now sli and crossfire dont work properly in crysis, but when the game was being made crytek stated numerous times it was being made with dual cards and multicore in mind.

You'd think it would work out of the box if that was the case.
