Although the trend for the last year has been for publisher to create Xbox 360 SKUs and then port to PS3, Sony claims this is now starting to reverse: "Developers are now creating games on PS3 and then porting them to other platforms. This shows the strides developers are making in creating content for PS3 and also provides developers with an advantage as it's harder to port from Xbox 360 to PS3. Ubisoft's Haze is the first title to be created on PS3 and ported to Xbox."

Not sure Sony wanted to let the cat out of the bag just yet and still not sure if I'm that excited about the whole thing but there it is.

Not sure what they mean by Haze being the first title to be ported to the 360 since the PS3 is the lead platform for Burnout Paradise (and if Haze is a timed exclusive then Burnout will probably be available for both platforms first.)

Wasn't PS3 the lead platform for DiRT too?

Haze looks cack dunno whats fuss is about.. I remember seeing the first trailer. Thought "instant fail" just like i thought about timeshift and was right

Bit harsh to judge it now when it's not even out yet. Free radical have yet to bomb on an FPS. The game has many original ideas and if executed well, will no doubt be a lot of fun.

This game has been an exclusive on and off more times than you can shake a stick at, I wouldn't get your hopes up that its coming to the 360, but there again I wouldn't like to put money on it not.

Looks like a cracking game to me though, and hope it lives up to the hype.

This Article (written today) from eGames 07 doesn't mention anything about it being multi-platform, infact it clearly states it being a PS3 Exclusive, so I don't know what to think at the moment.

The article also doesn't say exactly great things about the game either, which is a bit worrying.

Haze has been in production too long for it just to be released on one platform. The costs would be much higher than they could recover on just the PS3. There might be less competition on Sony's console, but that doesn't mean it will sell enough to make a profit. The question was never was it coming out on the 360, rather, how long is the timed exclusivity and will they add much to the later version.

Haze will probably be the game to finally remove the 'oh my god it's free radical they make UBER fps they are king lolol' label off them.

Assassins Creed was PS3 Based too. So that'll show us how well things work :p

But yeah, generally speaking, Games that have been created on PS3 and ported work out better for both consoles.

Dirt and Assassins creed being the only 2 examples like :p

Assasin's Creed has bad fps and vsync problems on the PS3

Depends where your getting your info from, some sites are saying It looks better on PS3 and has a Better framerate. (Gamespot for one - who are usually in favour of 360 versions)

But I'm confident there's not gonna be much difference between the two.
