According to EVGA 22 amps on the 12V rail for the 8800GT

EDIT
If your going to mail the seller, ask the amps of the rails not just the wattage, else he will come back with with nothing of any use to you. Oh, the brand would be nice to know too, Expect it to have a Lidl sticker on it though.

is one x1950 better than two 8500's in SLI?

Don't be put off by the 2ghz of the E2180, mine is @ 2.6ghz at stock volts and going up 100mhz every few hours of stablity testing. Could 3ghz be possibly on stock volts
Quite simply the best chip (also cheapest) I have ever had, oh why did I join the Intel bandwaggon so late.

I'm not 100% sure, but taking into some assumptions & other things, then Yes.

How I come to conclusion, well VGA Charts 2007, I have 8500GT selected in 1, ATi X1950 Pro (594Mhz, Not the best X1950 Pro) selected in the 2nd slot, to make a quick comparison I go to Overall Games FPS which adds them all up, 1243 for X1950 while 504 for 8500GT considering most of the time SLI doesn't offer anywhere near double the performance, but let's just say it did, it still wouldn't beat the X1950... If you go to each of the games aswell you'll see double - triple the FPS from the X1950 compared to 1 8500GT... Just take an SLI into assumption & well you can see even if with impressive performance increase it seem fair to assume it still wouldn't outperform it.

As said though this is mostly just assumptions based on data available & not actual proof... Just using what is available to make an assumption.

Just got mine at 3.0ghz, had to up the volts up one notch, run orthos for 2.5hrs wothout any problems, stayed under 50c with Arctic Freezer.
