RR Day 7 - At last, He booked it !

Last time they posted a thread with them all in, was a good idea nudge nudge wink wink. :) If not email in trust Celica gt4. :)

Ok, I'll rename them to the car names, instead of regplates, and upload them...I will warn you all, my bandwidth will be raped, and they may end up going down if I hit my limit.

That Golf was mental, I didn't say much for a while as I was still in shock, felt I'd lost a stone :o:D

Fox what a lovley old mans car - sell it to me when you get an S420 :p

Surprised me too when I heard the dump valve chuffing away...
Hang on a minute, Golfs don't normally do that. :D

Just noticed in the the results thread that last time the engine power was lower than the corrected power last time, however this time it is the oppostie was around, strange.

Well no, last time it was warm, this time it was cold - the corrected power adjusts it to accepted DIN (I think?) standards for accurate comparison.

Got back an hour or so ago, fuel light on for the last 20 miles :D

Was great to meet the regular faces and some new ones.

Big thanks go out to Si, Tim and Tom for the rides in their cars.

The S2K was awesome, sounded great and pulled like a train

Tims EK9 popped and banged away, pulled very nicely for a 1.6 as well.

Toms Mondy was very deceptive, felt smooth and linear and yet pretty fast looking at the speedo. Felt like it handles very neutral, confidence inspiring :)

Thanks to Adam for the photos of my car, from what I saw on the cameras screen they will turn out fantastic!

As for my results, I very chuffed with them for a little 1.8 :D :D

Even if the RR is over reading that's a nice increase on a VTEC engine for Cold Air Intake, Exhaust Manifold, Hi Flow Cat and Exhaust.

Neil.

So, did anyone get a pic of my teg with it's engine in bits? :D

Due to the temps probably. /edit, beaten to it.

Well done to the guys that made it today, good meet and nice to see you all again.

Thanks to
cymatty
Tom
Freefaller
Conanius

For the passenger rides. :)

Big thanks to Gibbo that CSL was amazing, never really been a BWM person but wow  great car.

I was sooo close to grabbing a sneaky phone pic for you but thought you might not want to be seeing it in pieces :) Anyway the engine itself wasn't in bits, there was just one big bit (bottom end), nothing else :)

Did you see her later in the afternoon? She was stood in the middle of the road with her arms folded staring at us for a good 10 minutes.

She was probably trying to work out why she had 2 mixed grills for one person.

So did I! :D

It wasn't really a 3 slide point, more like a slide and snake turn!!!

You were lucky, when we went for that initial drive the diff was still cold so it bit nicely after the handbrake turn, hence the lock to lock slides - by the end of the day it had totally had enough and was just spinning the wheels up instead of kicking the arse out like it's supposed to.

I need to rob Bear's back end when he's not looking!

Llyr that Golf is an absolute animal, I need to have a session on the weights before I drive it again though.

Gibbo - CSL sounds sublime, really loved the interior and just the general hardcore "feel" of the car.

ConfusedTA - that is one seriously nice Prelude, very clean build and at a glance I really did think "Who's Integra is that?" before I noticed the LED sidelights and realised what it was.

FakeSnake good to meet you at last and I owe you a pint!

Roll on next time!
