Awesome! Are you based out of Chelford?

Delivery Driver (deliver to & collect from 130 customers a week) Overalls, Dust mats & roller Towels. Drive about 650 miles a week average. Quite well paid for this type of job but 6am start every weekday. Done this job about 6 1/2 years now.

I really wanted to be a long distance lorry driver, something I always wanted to take up.. now married with a kid and "career" it's not going to happen - a warm office and comfy desk isn't always a good thing :(

Chapelcross Power Station

work in the Waste Department, great job, love it really as much for the guys i work with and the tandc's as for the job itself which can be different everyday. Anything from binman to forklift truck man, from recycler to rigger. Good stuff.

I work for the U.Ks biggest electrical specialist. Begins with MA, ends with LIN and has a P in the middle. Currently as a Sales Team Leader, but have assisted in the opening at two new stores in the past two weeks. Cheshire Oaks and Worcester. Currently working in an unopended store in the west midlands, due to open on the 1st dec, so making sure everything runs smoothly.

Can honestly say i love the job :D

I am - especially since I'm home for nearly half the year (28 days on, 28 days off) :D

I went through many years of that mate, thought I'd never get away from the grind of working in dead-end jobs for a pittance - this job kinda landed in my lap. Just goes to show, you never know what's around the corner.

good for you. My brother is in the oil industry as an operator/chemist something at a rig in the North Sea. He gets paid at least £45k. I think hes on more now.

What you reckon about the business about mandatory holidadys for offshore oil workers? As well as the shift on and shift off pattern? (either 2 weeks on 3 weeks off is what he's on)

This job sorta fell into his lap as well lol. He had a degree in biochemistry or something and he got a job at SEPA in Aberdeen just testing samples or smt everything day - kinda boring but then he landed the offshore job through an agency. Now the agency only paid him smt like £12 - £15k but when he got taken on by the oil company he was on £40k minimum straight off.

me im a librarian/backup it support/website maintenance/e-learning support/copyright advisor. Yep the glorious nhs...dont bother hiring new people just give their their work to someone else. Luckily its only part-time. (kinda why i like it :D)

Working for the NHS just as an admin assistant.
Looking for something else at the moment, problem is i'm just not sure what i'm wanting to do. :(

My beloved OH and I run our own delicatessen. We opened in April this year and have already won 'Continental Deli of the Year'. I know that this is blatant bragging, but we're really proud of our shop and what we've achieved in such a short space of time.

As you can imagine the really tough part of the job is tasting all the cheeses, chocolates, sauces, salamis, meats, etc. before we buy them. Ordering the Christmas stock was great as we were inundated with samples.

I work for the Young and Rubicam group, and provide IT to a couple of big media advertising companies, and i flippin love it!
