Did anyone in London just hear that thunder?

That was the craziest thunder I have ever heard, it lasted for around 20 seconds, and I thought someone had taken a picture in my living room the flash was so bright! :eek:

That was RIGHT over our house!! Sheet lightning instantly following by ground trembling thunder!

The road from egham to ascot (via wentworth golf club) is almost the worst I've seen it.. some lovely blind bends with serious amounts of collected water and streams over the road.. must be part of the same storm.

Really dark clouds earlier.

yes, if you think there is going to be a power-cut, get as much usage of all electrical appliances before it happens!

If i go away for a long period of time though i unplug everything though!

Pffffffffft

Big thunder is when you're in a chalet half way up a mountain in switzerland and a thunder and lightning storm starts.
