Help me find a WW2 downloadable font for my grandads birthday card

Im making a birthday card for my grandad who used to shoot russian planes on the HMS Premier back in WW2. Iv managed to get the best picture I can of the ship, quality is not brilliant but its the best I could find.

Only thing im having problems with no is finding a decent font. I want to try and find something like this.

But cant seem to find any decent fonts by using google.

He must be German,or Finnish


And since even mensioning WW2 makes Germans Ears burn then im gonna take a guess and say he was from Finland
 
I think russia may have come from a newspaper article of him from an old national newspaper, it was a picture of him and his medals. The title of the article said "From Russia with Love" so im not quite sure what was happening.

HMS Premier seems to have been assigned to anti-submarine operations in the European theatre, so maybe he was on the Arctic convoys taking supplies to Russia.
