That company changes its name so many times down here. It was Brewers Fayre, then Brewsters, then something else, now its Carnon Inn or something. Is Charlie Chalk still at your one? Makes me laugh everytime how that got through. Almost as bad as Captain Pugwash.

C# programmer for a web design agency, i enjoy it. I messed when i first left school workng in shops and stuff then i went to uni. Now i have a cushy, well paid job with lots nice hours so i'm happy :)
 
I work for the U.Ks biggest electrical specialist. Begins with MA, ends with LIN and has a P in the middle. Currently as a Sales Team Leader, but have assisted in the opening at two new stores in the past two weeks. Cheshire Oaks and Worcester. Currently working in an unopended store in the west midlands, due to open on the 1st dec, so making sure everything runs smoothly.

Can honestly say i love the job

Me too, nearly 5 years, part time the whole time whilst I fail and repeat courses all too often. Maybe you guys seen the video on you tube head office complained to our store about :p

My last job was "Web and E-Learning developer" for a university, on the e-learning side it essentially meant java crap for Blackboard. At least we had the full academic, portal and content suite to play with though (one of the first unis in the UK to get the full lot).

Luckily I didn't have to deal with the actual content.

Either way working in the gaming industry is a LOT more fun. I'm so glad I got out of the public sector and all it's inherent bickering, empire building and politics. :)

The bickering is crazy. im glad Im only there for a year!
Yeah I've heard of blackboard but never used it. Apparently our inhouse system is more advanced but I cant comment for sure!

hahaha nah it changed from Charlie Chalk ages ago :D was the something else a beefeaters? :D I'm still determined to try the brewster bear costume on.
