I think I may have just found it...

Words cannot describe how that piece makes me feel. That melody just sounds like it almost shouldn't be that beautiful, to my ears. Needless to say, I've nearly finished working out how to play it. :D

What's the most beautiful melody, or one of, in your opinions? :)

Didn't do anything for me I'm afraid :(

Off the top of my head, Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder springs to mind, extremely simple, memorable and sung with great feeling.

I wouldn't describe it as beautiful though.

Clair De Lune by Claude Debussy is though in my opinion :)

Nice choice. Stevie's melodies always seem to hit the right spot. I Wish is another one that feels so good.
Its definitely very funky! As sad as it is 'As long as you love me' by Backstreet boys has always sounded great to me! :D
ARGH, that song is horribly catchy. :(
Clair De Lune by Claude Debussy is though in my opinion :)
I just had a listen, and you're right. That is a truly beautiful melody.

My own personal fave is Losing My Religion, by REM. Just love the acoustic guitar driving the song along.

It's also my favourtie song, which does tend to bias my choice.

I've mentioned it before and I'll doubtless mention it again: Wilco - Jesus, etc. is simply the most beautiful song, there may be better but I can't think of a single one offhand. :)

[...] Any adagio for strings remake/remix/etc is fantastic.

Remix? REMIX?! Oh dear.

Also, the following version by a percussion ensemble will surely test your enthusiasm. Xylophones, dear god...

Mercifully [or perhaps sadly, because it'd be so bad it'd be brilliant], there's been no version using massed stylophones.
