PC Gamer gave it 88%, they down-rated it because of the singleplayer elements, and slightly unbalanced weapons and vehicles (which will no doubt be fixed by patches). Other than that it's all good.

Seriously though... a UT game is a multiplayer game, and there is where it's strenghts are.
I don't know why you're rolling your eyes at me. I was just trying to save you some trouble.
Gah, i read it had some kind of SP campaign and was hoping it wouldn't be this.
In two minds if i should bother with it now, as i can't online via uni internet cus they frown upon online gaming.
Knocked it down due to single player side of gameHave these people never played UT before, or have any idea what the whole concept is about

When you consider that one of UT3's new selling points was a developed SP campaign, you cant ask people to judge it purely on its multiplayer.
I bought UT3 on the 10th october 2005.
Today I got an EMail saying that my card had been dissallowed ( Yeah, it would its got new issue number etc after all of this time ) but they also took the payment in 2005 too!
I just checked my Bank paperwork, and sure enough, they took the money and tried taking it again.
I got in touch witjh them and they denied taking the money in 2005 so I faxed them a photocopy of the transaction... They are still denying it.
So, looks like I wont be getting it anytime soon unless I pay twice, and I have waited for over 2 years FFS!
