Which phone, out of the two?

Personally i would take the N95 because i have never used the Viewty. But it does look very nice too. Depends what you really need it for. The N95 will probably have more applications since its on the Symbian S60 OS.

The viewty is attractive mainly for its screen and camera, touchscreen and decent video recording / playback.
The N95 is seems bulkier and has the same sort of abilities, except it has a load of applications - I doubt I'd use them either.

Having had a quick play with a Viewty and as an N95 owner, I'd say that the Viewty has a slight edge. That said, I'd take the N95 8GB over the Viewty.

Make sure you get the X Series package.

Seemed ok, but didn't have long with it. Opera Mini 4 is perfectly good even if the default browser isn't up to your standards.

The N95 8Gb gets my vote.
The Viewty is nice, but the touchscreen will drive you barmy after a bit with txting.

Does any one know if texting on the Viewty can be done with the stylus and handwriting recognition?
I miss that feature from the P900, and using the buttons strains my thumbs.

You'd think that, but I love it for texting. The vibration on each keypress just makes it better than any other touchscreen I've used.

I tried an N95 before I got my Viewty. If I really needed the GPS or extra software support I'd probably have got the N95, but meh, I can manage without those quite happily.

a friend of mine has a viewty. its a serious consideration for those who want an iphone that could actually be considered a decent phone. i was impressed with it.

Texting is fine on my viewty as long as your precise with your fingers. The handwriting recognition is OK but you have to right the letters out neatly otherwise it will put another letter.

Internet browsing is good and quick even with the standard browser (havnt tried opera yet, any better?)

Camera quality is excellent and one of the best if not the best out of all the 5 MP camera phones :D

8.5/10 for the Viewty :D

Hmm.
I was never impressed with it when i tryed it.
No touch screen based txting has impressed me that much tbh though. :p.

Had the same choice and I went for the N95 8GB. Just got it and its a very nice phone. Very nice screen, features like WIFI and I'm used to Nokia's I suppose. Was seriously tempted by the Viewty for its touch screen.

n95, cause viewty doesnt have WIFI, im saying wifi is the way forward unless u have enough to burn £7 a month(something like that) on HSDPA

I went for the Viewty, did not even consider the Nokia after the last two N series my wife has had which were slow and bulky, the viewty on the other hand is light and easy to use, with a good fast responce, the touch screen is great as is the camera.
You can type txt's so easily with a choice of keypad, keyboard or handwriting recognition, just a joy to use.
