Bluetooth/Dashboard woes.

Just for you EVH.

I had "Bluetooth not available" in Tiger when it came back from repair, I installed Leopard hoping it would fix it but now I get nothing. :confused:

and

Whilst I am here... Dashboard isn't working either, I had it working when I first got Leopard running but then the widgets vanished, when I add another it appears and then vanishes again.

Seems like the Apple technicians have forgot to connect the bluetooth device back up..

Edit: try running a hardware test (startup with the Leopard disk and hold down d)

I'm betting that it's either a dead bluetooth module, or as you say Justin.. the Apple technicians failed to reconnect it up.

Are you sure about that?

Didn't seem to work.

I ran the Leopard instead though and the system profiler there didn't pick it up.

I would call Apple and get it sorted. Probably a fault with the connection or something similar.
