Best torrent client on the market

I use a little known client called µTorrent.

az runs on java for one, the usage is silly


utorrent works flawlessly with very low resources, it ran fine on a p2-400,256mb machine, when playing divx videos fullscreen

I use Azureus version 2.4.something and it's fine. I won't install the newest version that has some content layer rubbish over the top.

I find the plugins that Azureus has are excellent, especially Safepeer which I use all the time, also the DHT comes in handy when trackers are down.

For pure Torrent downloads I would use Azureus.

I currently use Ares for other things and Torrents.

I'm in the same boat as the OP, not used any other programs. I would consider switching to uTorrent, but does it have the DHT stuff that azureus does? Because after a certain large tracker went down, obviously it hit my download speeds as most of the seeds and peers were lost. But azureus has decentralised tracking, where you don't need a tracker. Or something.
So my torrents have continued to download, albeit slower.

Is this unique to azureus, or do all the majoy players have it?

Also, I have 9 torrents in my download queue, in various percentages of completion. Is there an easy way to import them all ito utorrent from Azureus, or do I have to fish around in my compter for all the relevant torrent files, then point them to the right directory?
