Edit: Actually, I've never even tried playing on a pad but it just seems pointless to me. I think I'll actually give it a go and see how well I do with a pad compared to a guitar.

I'd probably not get cramp in my hand using the pad so could play for longer

The pad is hugely easier and much simpler as you never need to move your fingers or strum to hit notes.

Picked it up on the PS3 tonight for £59.99 in store. Wi is only £54.99. Unfortunately after 3 songs my teenage emo daughter pinched it from me, bah.

No they wont work on other consoles, and as the new 360 controller is now wireless Im assuming that wont work on the PC either.

the 360 one might work on the pc if you have the ms wireless receiver thing on the pc. if so, frets on fire might work with it as well.

i got my 360 gh3 today. im new to gh and i like it. wonder how much gh2 solus will be when/if they release it?

if any1 wants to add me to their friends to play online sometime thats fine. im relatively new and poor at it, so if you just want a laugh, want to see what types of online play are available, or even just a cheeky bit of boosting (if possible) then im you man. i am on add-hoc and sometimes its my young son playing about so you might just be ignored, but i take what i receive.

OK just to confirm the 360 wireless guitar works fine with the windows wireless gaming receiver. Haven't tried FoF because it's poo but I heard it works with GH3 for the PC when it comes out.

yeah i tried frets on fire and i thought the same. anyone else any thoughts on fof? have i written it off too early? might be worth of a purchase of a ms wireless receiver?

is there another fof thing on the pc? or am i making it up?

Think there is another one but its very very basic. I can't remember but I think it was a youtube video showing you how easy it was to make step files (fret files?) with his software.

I got the receiver for £13 and its well worth it. Can play games with the most perfect controller
