Driving test, prices?

How much does the test cost nowadays?

I cant find out a price without filling out the whole form, and i cant find my theory cert so i cant fill it in until i do, i need to put some dosh in the bank this afternoon so im just wondering how much it costs.

Taking a guess from when I did mine, its gotta bo £60 odd cant remember if that includes 1 hour for the car too!?

55 for the car.. hour before the test for a lesson and the car, not bad, ill ask him about the test actually, he will know as he has people going for their tests most days of the week.

This will be going up. I took my test in september and the examiner, aswell as my instructior and others told me the price was being increased... somethign to bare in mind if your test isnt for a couple of months.

Cost me 48.50, then two hours worth of lessons (46.50), expensive day, then i went and failed.

Mine were £120 inc hire of instructors car. (I took 3 tests before passing.)

Ah yea.. dont forget you will need to hire your car for 2 lessons aswell ( usualy 2 lessons - 1 befoe thena nd hour for the test) so it ends up costing more like £80+ per test

Not sure if it has changed since, but when I took mine in 2001 we had to provide a car which has the extra mirror(s) - a friend decided to take his parents car but the extra mirrors cost almost as much as it cost me to hire the instructors car iirc.

currant test prices are £48.50 and not due to go up until April (which is normally when it goes up) except when the theory went to 50 questions price changed for that at the time.

Cost me £120 for test + instructors car. Some of my friends didnt even have to pay for their instructors car but just the money for the test :S

cost me £48.50 for the test, + 2 hours lesson, with 1 hour of which is the test, so came to about £90. Took me 3 goes.....£270 in total.

I got mine on a saturday so it's little more expensive, about £8 IIRC (Only been a week and i can't remember!). I got my lessons at a slight discount, i paid £19/hour so it's £38 to the instructor and about £55 to the DSA. Times that by 4 and thats how much it cost me. I would but i can't bear to do it
