The Witcher-Official Thread

Very cool vid!

I haven't played much this week, replacing my graphics card to a 8800GT on tuesday so will pick it up again next week!

I had 30mins on it earlier in act4 and loving the irish style music in the inn

Can anyone tell me how to make the Werewolves Wrath potion. I have the special ingredient (tuft or hair) and all of the other ingredients listed, plus the correct alcohol base - however when I go to meditate it won't let me create the potion as it states I do not have enough ingredients.

Anyone?

What act is that on Ramdom?

I had the same problem. I ended up having to use White Gull.

Yes I had this problem too.

The reason is because there are different kinds of base that have different numbers of slots. Even some high quality bases only have 4 slots... and you need one with 5 to make these special potions.

I can't remember which base I used exactly as it's been a while since I completed the game, but I'm pretty sure that if you buy all the expensive very high quality stuff from the Inn then you won't go wrong.

I got a hunch that the cherry rye vodka would be a good place to start.

Oh and you're a monster for killing that nice werewolf. He only ate salamanders.

Cheers for the hint mate will try today.

and all I will say is - he hit me first and it stung. He asked for it! :D

Due to political correctness these days are we allowed to mention black skin? Maybe the do gooders will complain we are hurting the pixels feelings in the picture?

Finished it today after a week of fairly solid playing, overall very good :). Alchemy being useful was good and I enjoyed the combat which I hated in NWN2. The last part of the game was pretty short and quite linear, I don't think I'll play through again as I did most of the side quests. Finished at level 38 I think, the maxed fire spell is nasty.

I've just completed a side quest called Hunt the last hunt or something.

Anyway....

POSS SPOILERS

Its in act 4 when you kill 8 wraiths around the duid fire. The rewards are:

The Hut
Vampire book
The wreath or immortelles

Which one you recon i should go for? The last one seems the best to me :eek:

Hi guys im on Act III there are a few contracts for velarad that I have completed........but where is he... when I track quest it says hes at the watch tower but hes not lol??? any idea where he hangs out?:)

I think the hut is just storage in an area you won't be staying in for much longer and the vampire book would give you the normal knowledge about vampires (bruxa), worth 100 or so if you sell it. I took the wreath aswell and then it was mentioned by one of the wraith sisters who I could give it to and then she showed up in the epilogue - no idea if that was beneficial though .
