Are these things impossible to find in the UK or what? Im not asking where to get them but can someone just confirm if they know they are available so I can continue my search for them, or just give up now?

Problem is I dont want the whole kit at a cost of roughly £20 (incl postage) when all I need are the screws. the kit only comes with 12 screws and I need roughly 24 so that would run me about £30 for 2 of those kits :(

You can buy them in packs of 50 from a large electrical component retailer, so continue your search as you will be rewarded in time :)

These only provide a rubber washer while the ones required have a rubber element that completely isolates the screw/drive from the case (notice the slot around the middle).
I've not seen these anywhere in the UK.

You could use ordinary grommets from the same retailer. Ideally the screws should be shouldered but you could achieve the same result using ordinary longer screws and a small piece of tubing that fits between the thread and the grommet.

I bought that nexus kit when i was flush how about a bungee mod with sewing machine elastic ? will be the best for noise.

I've contacted one of the companies that make them, and they have passed my request to purchase these for 6 drives to their UK outlet (who don't currently stock them), and i've had an e-mail from the UK company today saying that they will see if they can source them and get them in

What I did was get some stretch "stuff" they put in boxers and suspend my drives in those in two 5 1/4" bays, no vibration at all

lol i never thought of using that i have just ordered some sewing machine elastic.
Never thought i'd hear of a man suspending hdd's in his pants though.

I have posted the above pics here a few times but I would add Velcro to HDD, and Elastic, then you need not worry about the HDD's tipping out.

I think this is the most Pro way I have ever seen though:

Any idea where to buy these from?

Yes, major thread revival. :p

If we're thinking of the same retailer, then the ones they supply are rubbish. If the screw is tightened too much, the rubber washer gets shredded.
