Mcdonalds Everyday?

Home Cooked Food>Pub Food>Pizza Express>Pizza Hut>BK>KFC>McDonalds=Subway

IMHO

I don't know about you guys but I prefer Pizza Express over pub food any day!

Had a great (albeit pricey) meal there the other day and compared to the pretty horrid pub dinner we cuisined on the other week it was a blinder.

Depends on the pubs you go to mate but most of them Have beautiful Munch compared to that of Pizza Express plus they've also got the added bonus of veriety rather than just Italian Food:p

just look at food as energy instead of a nice time, and if you don't burn that energy off you will gain weight, its so very simple.

if you find yourself snacking late at night just ask yourself why you need that extra energy intake, make food {energy } less about habit and taste and more about the necessity

I don't know how anyone can like mcdonalds, theres usually a burger van, healthier, cheaper and tastier round the corner.
Or a subway down the road.

Subway? Is that a new chain of resturant? Where I live u have subways under the road in the local town, with the odd begger in it. I don't recall seeing food stalls in the London underground either, only in stations.

Either you're trying to be funny or live under some kinda of rock.

Okay, first of all i've seen Super Size Me, I know eating McD's everyday, three times a day will more than likely ruin my health, but will eating a Big Mac meal once a day, maybe three to four times a week really screw me over?
Dunno but 'any' fast food places are as bad as McDonald, sometimes even worse. McDonald get slated easily because some people go there daily but it's no different from going to any chippy shop daily!

A Big Mac medium sized meal with coke - nearly 1,000 calories. Avoid milkshake because that will add something like 250-300 calories!

But I'm not sure about the fat which can be bad for your heart even if you eat under the recommended level?

I went to KFC and had a "Wicked Zinger Meal" recently.

I decided to work out the calories and fat intake using the flipside of their tray inserts...

It worked out at about ~90grams of fat, and in excess of 1200 calories IIRC.
Pretty much the RDA for fat and around half of the the RDA for calories.

And of course, in reality their meals have been found to include more calories than specified...

Yummy.

People finally seeing the light about Subway

Get a real sandwich from a deli. I love to get chicken breast, mozzarella, tomato, basil and pesto in a toasted ciabatta.

Try a subway sandwich without any of their sauces/dressings... you'll realise how tasteless and quite frankly disgusting their meat and other ingredients are.

Wicked Zinger Meal/Fully Loaded Meal is great if you're just really hungry though. See I'm not one to denigrate all fast food, it has its place and as long as you don't eat it everyday you can have the odd zinger meal and big mac meal and still be healthy.

wow are you sure? a roast dinner is about 800 cals. that is disturbing if them numbers are true.
Yep but without Coke, it is 835 calories.

Have a look at http://www.mcdonaldsmenu.info for more info on its foods.

Also burger king's site is worth a look - http://www.burgerking.co.uk/nutrition/index.aspx

A whopper for example, a item with the biggest calories number isn't from beef but the bap! Beef comes in a close 2nd though.

If you look at Subway's site, the biggest calories comes from bread, not chicken or whatsoever in it!

You can eat pretty much as much salt as you wish, provided that you drink more water.

And there are much better alternatives to a meal from that ********.

i had a xl bacon double cheese meal everyday for about 2 months when we where staying in a hotel next to burglar king

i didnt die

edit-actually no i didnt , 5 times a week though .

when i have eaten a roast dinner i do not have to eat for the rest of the day again, its such a big meal and fairly healthy too.

A big mac is small snack that will not be the only intake for most people for that day, the balance is quite alarming, and i can see people easily going over there RDA who are on this kind of diet.
