Being a serial procrastinator it's a word that's been around me for a while. So much so that my wife bought me one of these a few years ago.

On the subject, there was a great quote on Spooks this week: "Patience is just procrastination without the anxiety."

it's been used for years but only in what are you addicted/good at/ doing type threads.

Nothing is wrong with it, but it means something completely different.

I could be wrong here but I think sara was talking about using pertinacious in place of persistant since they do mean almost exactly the same.
