Yep, I finally got the teg' back earlier this week :D

Repair cost was higher than I was expecting/hoping for but PS had a nightmare with the cam timing and the car had to have a lot of dyno time to get it running right.

Still, it's back now and I'm loving it :D

Shame I can't really get the power down in this awfull wet weather we're having :(

Roll-on some dryer, crisper days ;) :D

Couldnt have come at a worse time looking out the window, but thats great news all the same, bet you are well chuffed :)

Good to see you got her back. Was a nightmare tale for sure. Sometimes the outlay seems completely insignificant in comparison to the relief of having it fixed.

How many ponies and torques be she runnin'?!

Good to hear you've finally got it back, bet the wait has been bloody awful!

Power is actually down on where it should be for the spec, it's 'only' making similar power to a stock Type-R at the moment. This is due to the fact that PS have set the cam timing to standard Toda settings, but the ecu has been mapped with tweaked cam timing. PS had no way of knowing how many degrees from stock the timing was originally set, so had to set it to standard Toda settings. So basically the car is a little 'out of tune' at the moment.

I'll get it tuned/mapped at a Honda specialist in the new year, it should be making 230+ after that.

And here's me remembering you saying you'd given up tuning cars :p

Fantastic stuff Drex! Really happy to hear it!

Now you've just gotta break the news to the wife and kids that Christmas is cancelled :p

A mate of mine has his running nearly 500 bhp. quarter mile in 12.01secs never been in anything anywhere like it its absolutley mind blowing it accelerates from 70 -160 like a normal fast car does in third its crazy and if he takes it easy still get over 30 mpg

I`ve had 4 crx in my time one turbo but that didnt last long bit of a ghetto conversion although it did help with doing the teg

seems like they've had it for weeks and weeks, i wouldn't be too impressed, especially as it came back in a worse state of tune then when it went in.

anyway, at least you've got it back

I do agree to a certain extent, but to be fair to them they had no way of knowing what cam settings the car has been mapped to. It would have meant more dyno time and trial'n'error. Also one of the reasons they had it so long was because they were waiting for a 'headset' from Honda, apparently they just took ages to get it to PS.

But yeah, in some ways I wish I had taken it to a Honda specialist in the first place.

Sweet! I bet you're just glad to have it back at the moment. And remember, you still have some more to extract for the future... something to look forward to. You'd only spin those extra ponies away on these wet roads anyway! :)

Glad you got the car back but I think you are being far too soft on powerstation just because they are powerstation.

How long have they had your car? And they haven't even repaired it properly. Then overcharge. I would have told them where to go. I think you were a bit blinkered because of their "reputation".
