I'm 22 in 2 days (ZOMG!1!). The first ever games that hooked me up to PC games were the original Half Life, Starcraft and Microsoft MonsterTruck. Was 10 years ago. All ran perfectly on my P2 350Mhz, 64Mb PC100 SDRAM & Nvidia TNT2 32mb.
Im 19, I started off with console such as Nintendo with those big squarish catridges. It wasnt till 1997 that I started starcraft, started off my pc gaming.
im 21 my first 'gaming device' was an amstrad LOL (green screen) any1 remember???
after that i had a super-nes (as described by -K-) my favorites on the snes, were mario games and Donkey kong world wish i never got rid of it now
My mates commodore 64 was about 1984 I was 12. Daley Thompson's Decathlon we played it for days, my fingers are still numb, and International Soccer on a ROM cartridge ahhhhh the days
Went on to own one myself, then an AtariST. Had a long period where I went without anything from about 1990 to 1996 was at Uni and women & beer were higher on the agenda.
Got a PS got back into it then got a gaming PC in 1999. Was Gateway P3 450 MHz, 64 MB RAM, a Voodoo 3 3000 (best card I've ever had). £1200
The game that really got things rolling was MOHAA mp. Thought I was in heaven.
i still have a P3 450 spare pc only mines 384 mb ram, 32 mb nvidia card (dont know which one) win 98, setup specially to run xcom apocolypes which im now bored of LOL, so its takin up space and last time i tryed to sell it NO interest and that was with win ME on with better setup
