Gone for best performers for each team this season rather than theoretical who's best...

In what way?
I've gone for the best talents from each team, I believe some of them are obvious (such as Arca for Middlesbrough, Ronaldo for Man Utd, or Gerrard for Liverpool) and others are based on track records, star performances or abilities.

ive got to say, do you lot really think owen is our best player? or are you not taking into account injuries here

I still maintain that Given is your best player, I've felt that way for the last 4-5 years too. When he plays well, for me, he's the best keeper in the league, which is no mean feat considering the shower of **** he's had infront of him.

Arsenal: Fabregas
Aston Villa: Barry
Birmingham City: Kapo
Blackburn Rovers: Bentley
Bolton Wanderers: Anelka
Chelsea: Cech
Derby County: Is there one?
Everton: Arteta

Manchester United: Ronaldo
Middlesbrough: Downing
Newcastle United: Martins
Portsmouth: Benjani
Reading: Hunt
Sunderland: Edwards
Tottenham Hotspur: Berbatov
West Ham United: Bellamy
Wigan Athletic: Sibierski

I am still not sure if you went for talent or performance since in my opinion you need a consistent factor to measure against.

skoko, yorke, isaakson, forsell, kamara - for instance

i guess it depends on your measure as I said. In my opinion forsell cannot even come close due to his servere injuries and then lack of form followed by lack of fitnes, followed by injury and then lack of fitness!

granted my list for best performers and best talents would be quite different.

Kamara is a skillful game changer. He offers the best dynamicism in the team, linking play from Midfield to Attack much in a similar way to Henry for Arsenal. I watched him a lot last season and he has come on leaps and bounds. His skill on the ball is immense for his size.

Forsell is a lethal finisher who you can't give half a yard. There wasn't a whole lot of standouts at Birmingham, but when he's fit Forsell is a hitman of the highest standard and he could be the difference between survival and relegation.

Isaksson is a phenomenally good goalkeeper, much underrated by many in this country, but he's of a standard suitable for any of the top sides in this county, Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea inclusive. For me, he's the first choice I'd have from Man City. Big, strong, fast and great delivery, he offers everything. His return from injury is a massive bonus to Man City, especially over the 2 clowns they've played this season.

Yorke is the link player for Sunderland and before his injury he was showing the class of 5 or 6 years ago in his play. He's the player from the Sunderland midfield who will do the damage, recieving the short pass from players like Etuhu and then playing that killer through ball to the front or wide players.

Skoko for me has always looked a very confident player on the ball, he has a great shot and pass on him too. His problem has always been injuries, but when fit he can turn a game. He always reminds me of Elano (or should I say Elano reminds me of Skoko) but with injuries. I don't think Wigan have anything left from their team, Skoko offers more than either Scharner or Sibierski do in midfield, so it was a straight up battle between Skoko and Heskey, except Heskey has had over a decade to prove he isn't utter tosh... and he still hasn't.

You're the first person to agree with me.

When i saw him start for fulham the other month, i said the exact same about him playing in a similar style to Henry.

I dont know if i would consider him our best player though..Dempsey/Bullard/Davies for me. Although i do think he is a good player, but seems to be more of a winger in the premiership..need him to score like he did last season.
