Just unlocked that today. It feels similar to the M1 in ww2 games except you can reload when you want. Good counter sniper weapon at medium range.

edit: sorry I thought you were talking about the m14!

Really? I have a 2.31 kill ratio to deaths with the M16, with red dot its nearly as good as a sniper at distance, medium range it just owns, close combat it can fall a bit sort but 3 burst to the chest at close range and they are dead.

Have to agree with you there, M16 is great, I also quite like the G3.

Though i'm still a lowly Rank.30 so still plenty more to unlock.

Heh, you need to play with us some time, I rarely see you playing CoD.

It really is just about the best gun once you get the red dot on it as Mr Men said. I snipe with this thing and can take out whole groups of people with it no trouble.

I was using the P90 a lot which is a fantastic gun for close to medium range but you can't beat the M16 for all round versatility.

Once I hit 40 again I doubt I'll be using the P90 much apart from the odd map where there's more close quarters combat.

The G3 is good for it's accuracy and almost zero recoil but it's like using a pea shooter

Yeah could do with a bit more punch! I just like the range and accuracy of the thing, doesn't come close to the M16 for general use though.

M16 is brilliant. Completed all the m16 kill challenges ( bar headshot ones ) in a night and got to level 11

After getting to 7, 8, and 10 the previous day and having it reset back to 1 each time i stopped playing

When you unlock the m14 you'll be happy as it packs a little more punch compared to the g3 and has the accuracy of the M1 ww2 rifles

It looks very much like the servers are hammered this evening... It's just taken an age for the game to download my 'settings'..

/edit - after which all of my bluetooth devices appear to have disconnected, including my controller

It's my flaky headset that's doing it. Stay away from the Motorola H350 for gaming folks!

go online, you'll be ranked with lower ranked players, and its double XP points all weekend so you'll rank up quickly, i've just gone from 32 to 36 with a couple of hours play, Best bet is to play Search & Destroy as thats more points, follow your team-mates and protect the bomb till you get used to the maps
