Any possibly mounted a vf900-cu zalman cooler on theirs? I know they fitted and worked fine on the 8800GT but wondering if they are okay on this card due to the raised speeds and volts.
 
Anyone know if a full cover block is available for these? And i don't want the usualy stuff about them being too expensive and ot as efficient as a core block... i'm shallow and think they look pretty :p

P.S. Nice clocks ppl! Do i cancel my 88gt order for one of these....

Can't see why a GT block won't fit tbh, they look the same.
 
DO we know which brand has more potential for clocking? I think I ll buy one to play some games for xmas now I am not busy!

I have plenty of water (in sig) to cool it down when I buy a suitable block that is, so i will be pushing it to the limits!

Looks a very nice card and reasonably priced (for what you get, compared to the rest)

3DMark 06 doesn't heat up the card very much due to the gaps in the test (card starts cooling off while the next scene is prepared).

If you wanna do a tough test use that Ozone3D Fur thingy for 10mins, I found it to be a very useful 'thermal testing' tool.

Also during the CPU stage the GPU is given a hell of a long time to cool down.

Are 8800GTS owners really gonna game at 1280x1024?

1680x1050 or 1920x1200 results should be included now methinks :cool:

3DMark or games?

I can do some game benchys and 3dmark for the 8800GT as we need a comparison, but would have to do em tomoz night.
 
I want to know if the accelero s1 will fit these imagine what you can do with that on one of these probably going to get 900 clock

Just going over the scores with Easy, something is boosting his SM3 scores over where it should be compared to all the other results I've seen. Looking around, Im wondering if its PCIe 2.0? Seems to be P35 boards lagging next to Easy's x38.

Mine 850/2125/2200
