Corporate buzz words

I will kill the next person I hear say that. Even if it's my father.

I had a female manager who used to say that every damn day of my working life for the hotel I worked in.

I used to picture her head on a table mat with a carvery fork twisted into her skull. :)

I know of a place that doesn't have "issues" or "problems", merely "unresolved solution opportunities" ...........

Super Excited (one of our GM's uses it all the time, it's become a bit of a running joke)

I was in a management meeting once where they were moaning about the amount of time it was taking people to pick up the phone, supposed to be 4 rings. I said that we should introduce "proactive phone anwering" where you pickup the handset before it rings, they didn't seem the funny side, some people have no sense of humour ;)

Synergy - usually means "we're going to make some of you redundant"

I've seen a new one emerging over the last week or so. Brace yourselves for 'root to branch review'.

I hate words we've adopted as part of an "agile" programming way of working.

"Sprint", "Timebox", "Spike" being a few.
