5 min footage from start of new alien film

I hated the first Alien Vs Predator, thought it was really bad. This one looks a lot better though having seen the trailer in the cinema for it. Not gonna watch that clip above, i've ruined too many films for myself by watching teaser clips :p
 
the first AvP was great, as a story filler.. was good to see where Bishop came from and what-not.

Just watched the clip, and it looks great so far :P

Any ETA on when this hits the big screen?

Aliens - Even Better
Alien 3 - Disappointment
Alien:Resurrection - Even more disappointment
Alien Vs. Predator - Crap, but the (five second) fight scenes between Alien and Predator were awesome

Alien Vs. Predator: Requiem - lets hope they buck the trend.

AvP was utter tosh

It completely mucked up the time lines of the other films, especially the Alien films. The story was barely passable but felt extremely rushed and lacking.
It shouldn't have been on Earth, and it shouldn't have been present day
 
I have to agree on your points, AvP totally goes against the Aliens movies, which we all know were set way in the future and Knowbody had ever encountered them before!!!

Alien 3 - Different. The directors cut is very good.
Alien:Resurrection - Entertaining but not in the spirit of the series at all. Poor show!
Alien Vs. Predator - Barely passable as an entertaining movie. If it weren't associated with the Alien or Predator franchises, and the budget were smaller; it would have been a straight to DVD title...

Alien Vs. Predator: Requiem - An unknown quantity.

Pfft, I was expecting a new Alien film, not AvP, didn't like the 1st one, don't care about this one :p lol

Regarding the movies though

Alien - Excellent
Aliens - More Excellent
Alien 3 - Meh
Alien 3 Directors Cut - Rather good actually :p
Alien Resurrection: Not a bad film in itself, but doesn't really feel like an alien film, so not so good lol.
