What idiot is gonna pay nearly £100 more for a 8800GTS G92 over a 8800GT, well good luck.

I'm looking at getting a backup card so I can sell my main card like 2+ weeks before the new card to make some dosh .

The gts will fetch £170 easily in a few months the gt won't.
How can you think that is stupid ? by feb next year I can see the gt being £130-140 brand new and i think the gts will still be around £200

I dunno depends how close it is to the 9800, if its like a week away then possibly you wont get much even for a GTS but then there is a lot of idiots on the bay that would buy it.

Poor souls, but I guess it depends how you spin it, I mean I sold my GTX for £260 after all, and this was like 2 weeks after GT launch.

The GTX was a good buy and in some ways I wished I had kept hold of mine, all 3 of them, lol. But saying that I have had some fun along the way and not really lost that much so I can't complain.

If you can uprade your GT to a GTS for £40 I think its worth the difference.

I paid 19 quid from the sale of my GT to the GTS.

It was worth it for me.

Depending on which version you get, it can be quite a bit less than £100 more than a GT.

More like £40 to £50

Well I do like this GTS, definately an improvement over the 3870XT in before. Games at 1920x1200 feel smoother. Unfortunately I have a lot of things to do, so won't be able to muck around with it properly until tommorrow/Friday.

does anyone know if there is a bug in gpuz that reports the texture Fillrate more than it is??

as on the few pics on the last few pages the gts was on 13gt/s

mine is reporting 43.9!!!

The program is no doubt incomplete regarding correct fillrates etc.
