Just got mine through door today(nice birthday present) i'll be giving it a go later!
Happy Birthday, again. I was gonna play Uncharted for a few hours today but I got something through the letterbox myself:
I like computer games as much as the next man in this forum BUT NOT AS MUCH AS I LOVE HARRY POTTER!!! (And in Blu-Ray to boot!!)

Anyway , on level 9 off Drakes, and watching HP 5 on blu ray now, and maybe some Super Stardust Later on!!!

I have read the books.
Havnt watched the films.Bought Planet Earth on Blu Ray yesterday and one of the discs didnt work, it had 2 plastic coatings over the disc. I could actually pull one off. Shame the disc didnt work.

The books rule, the films are good but they miss out a lot of stuff, that a book fan would be annoyed about (like me). Got Planet Earth on Blu-Ray ages ago. Great showcase of HD content. Shame about your disc. Don't be pulling stuff off the disc if you need to return it though!!! Bloody students, always tinkering with stuff
Gonna turn off Harry Potter 5 now, seems too recent since I watched it only a couple of months back, last. The quality on this Blu-Ray is pretty mind blowing, one of the better transfers!!

I think i watched the first HP movie but didnt like it as much as they missed a lot out.
I've got a replacement now.
It was like when it was getting manufactured the machine put 2 lots of the plastic protective stuff on it. The layer easily came off because it wasn't moulded onto the disc. The disc would play the opening BBC annoying time wasting thing at the start but it wouldn't go to the menu.
Is a very good Blu Ray and enjoyed the series. Is there Blue Planet on blu ray also? I loved that!

Not yet. (If you see it listed it is the IMAX Blue Planet documentary that you may have seen in IMAX, not the BBC production you refer to).

I don't understand how anyone can own this game for more than a week and not have set enough time aside to complete it.

I played the demo and still don't see what all the fuss is about
I'm guessing theres much much more to the game than just that demo level then

I am on level 10 in some sort of tower thing. I want to at least come close to the end of this today, so I can start this Mass Effect as well at some point!

I played the demo and still don't see what all the fuss is about

The demo is great but it's one of the few shooter parts of the game where the enemies spawn in the same place and it's a little boring in that sense. Other than that it gives you a good representation of the game and if you don't like it then I don't understand why because it's brilliant
I already posted about this game but it would be my GOTY if Orange Box hadn't come out. I loved it from beginning to end, it's got bits of gears, SOTC / Tomb Raider style climbing and jumping, enough puzzles to keep your mind going and the animation is the best I've seen in a game.
SPOILER ALERT if you are not yet at chapter 18 look away now.
I am at chapter 18 currently and have mixed feelings about the fighting now, people that finished it will know what I mean, I am a very cautious player and like to take my time in a level to deal with the enemies, on the other hand it is a new challenge who to kill first, what are you views?
