Where did you meet your girlfriend/boyfriend?

I'm curious, that's all. Other than a club/work place/course I can't see it being possible. I have a friend who has the courage to approach strangers and he highly recommends it, I unfortunately don't have the confidence to pull off such a thing.
 
knew her from years ago. caught up a few months ago, i envited her out for my birthday, i made her breakfast in the morning

I met my wife in the worst night club in Guildford, with the high quality approach of my mate commenting "My mate reckons you've got a nice arse". An obvious route to c 10 years together
 
You don't need confidence to do that sort of thing, the idea is that confidence will ooze out of you if you can just throw caution to the wind and go for it. The reason he highly recommends it is because it works, girls instantly think "Wow this guy must have confidence!", it's not something you require, it's something that is thrust upon you.

I met mine in the first few days of uni, her room was on the other side of the corridor.
 
Met a girl off the internet - the girl she bought along for 'support' is now my girlfriend of almost 5 years.
