Top of the billing for the 2nd NLD this season (we'll be getting a double extra helping in the new year in the Carling Cup aswell). Spurs have serious defensive problems with makeshift CB Zokora banned for 3 games, as well as all but Kaboul looking injured in some way or another. Maybe we'll see Chimbonda play CB with Stalteri on the right or even the Hudd used as a CB. I can't see a makeshift Spurs defence keeping out L'Arse for anywhere near 90 mins. Which can only mean another goal fest hopefully, should be a brilliant game for the neutral and a nail biter for the fans.

There is some good news for Spurs fans as Keane returns from his harsh 3 match ban and is likely to reclaim his starting place with Berbatov. Bent is injured so Defoe gets his super sub role again, and I wouldn't count against him scoring off the bench.

My heart says it will be 2-2, my head says more like 3-2. :(

There are teams i would rather win than Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool this weekend. Tottenham, Blackburn and Portsmouth to name a few.

Big Kev = potential Grinch?

A Grinch, multiply that by 1000, give me an AK47 and that'll be nearer the mark mate.

These derby matches can't be matched for the amount of pure hatred we have for each other and to lose one is as bad as it gets.

Robbo/Alumini - Robbo ***** all over him in my book when Robbo is on form like the last few games he's one of the best around.

Chimbo/Sagna - They're ****ing identical in their playing styles not much in it there.

Lee/Glichy - Glichy is probably a bit better than Lee going forward as he has a good left peg and is fast as **** he's probably got Lee.

Kaboul/Gallas - Depends what Kaboul we see because the one from the last few games has been incredible but even so Gallas is ******* class and always shows up.

Zokora/Touré - At CB Touré hands down but Zoko has been playing very well there hopefully he'll be available because of the appeal process.

Lennon/Rosicky - Lennon is a better winger and will hopefully keep Glichy pinned back most of the game but Rosicky is very skilful to. I'd pick Lennon though everytime for RW

Malbranque/Hleb - Malbranque has been lethal for us lately but Hleb is a dangerman too and there's not much in it between these 2 on present form.

Boateng/Fabregas - If Boateng is given a man-marking job on Fab I think Boa would thrive and shut the little diving prima donna down. Boa is strong reads the game well and tackles powerfully and clean. This match up could decide the game but Fab will start hitting the dirt as soon as he sees Boa so the ref will most likely play a big part in this particular battle if he lets protects Fab or treats him like a regular player.

Jenas/Flamini - JJ at present would **** all over Flamini I'm confident JJ and Boa can win the midfield battle.

Berbatov/Adebayor - Both great target men but I think Berbs is a more complete player and his finishing is better but Adebayor is not one to underestimate he's got a very good alround game.

Keano/Van Persie - both quality but Keano is a special type of player and with the goon rusty coming back from injuries I would take Keano everyday of the week.

From a Spurs Forum.

I think Berbatov/Adebayor is the only one he got spot on :p

Same here. The Spurs fans go and praise their players to the rafters, but the players are just so average. Boateng, Malbranque, Zokora, Kaboul wouldn't get in a top 4 team, other players might make the bench bar Berbatov, Chimbonda and Keane who have talent.

Anyone watching? Good game so far, Spurs really playing well and Arsenal havn't really woke up yet. Unfortunately Spurs havn't capitalised and I can see Arsenal knicking it 1-0. Berbatov doesn't look interested

Yes and that's what every Spurs fan would write if comparing both teams man for man. Take a 13 year olds post and try and convey it as what we all think...

Though it's all very well calling alll Spurs players average. Thing is this young squad has finished 5th twice in a row, just barely missing out on a CL place. The squad is maturing and growing together and I've absolutely no doubts will be a force in the coming seasons.

With just a single fit CB we've also just won our last 3 games on the bounce against arguably the two strongest sides outside the Top 4. Both beaten in their own backyards, where they were previously unbeaten, with a clean sheet.... very average :p

I'm not on about in terms of that comparison. What I am saying is Spurs fans like to think their players are better than they actually are.

Spurs fans rave about players like King, Lennon, Dawson, Kaboul, Boateng etc.. and are they really THAT good? I don't think so.
