What did you lot get for christmas in the photography department?

I got the Nikon 50mm f/1.8 and a Studio Lighting set up with a 32" Tent, 2 Lights and various back drops, with a Rubber Lens hood for the 50mm. Quite happy with the 50mm so far

D80, 50mm f/1.8 and a crumpler daily here, picking up a sigma 30mm f1.4 on the 27th.

No piccies, as its quite hard fir the camera to take a picture of itself.

The 50mm is great..getting used to fully manual focus, not best idea to do it in crap light, but its getting there.

The DOF on this is crazy! So far im liking it!

The Hood i like too..fold it back whenever

The Studio seems pretty sturdy..will have pics when set up!

Just been having a quick go with the 50mm and the lighting, not fully used to it, so heres one of my first shots..just grabbed something that'll look good with a black backdrop.

Needs a bit of work, but its getting there.

I'm fighting the urge to buy lenses straight away.... can't wait to get it.
