**The Official Boxing Day Sales Thread**

I’m going to buy a cheap sofa tomorrow (hopefully). Checked the prices before Christmas and they are certainly advertised a bit lower in the boxing day sales. Not sure what will happen when I actually go and buy one though.
 
im setting off for work in quarter of an hour for pretty much the busiest day of betting of the year...i dont want to go :(
 
I will not be going to the sales today that's for sure. All of the over priced tat they couldn't get rid of through the year sold at a lower price. Still can't get away from it being tat
 
I wouldnt mind an Xbox 360, but will only get one if theres a decent deal, otherwise ill just wait for a price drop. Other then that wouldnt mind some clothes.

Went into town today as I needed a dark shirk, picked one up from debenhams for £15 (reduced from £25). Stopped in HMV and got Alien Quadrilogy, Reseviour Dogs and 28 Weeks Later for £23. Oh, and a tefal frying pan for a tenner :o
 
The stuff that goes on sale is generally the crap that nobody really wants anyway right? Then it's really cheap and people go 'hmmm well it is awfully cheap' the likes of Next stuff and as above mentioned Toshiba and names people have never heard off.
The decent stuff that people really want generally stay the same.
 
Think River Island was doing a decent sale 50% off on some stuff maybe lower just saw the signs in the windows while out today. I just got a couple of pair of jeans and a couple of rugby style tops for £60 today and only because i needed them or else wouldn't have bothered.

I will say this however it wasn't as busy as i thought it would be, have seen Edinburgh busier on a normal weekend outwith the holiday period than today plus not every shop was open for sales today a lot stayed shut.

Well i ventured to MeadowHell today and what a mistake i made!! Kids walking into me, parents ramming there kids in pushchairs all over the place............ and the queue in River Island was a JOKE! :( :(

Managed to pick a nice pair of jeans up from River island though... £25 reduced from £45.

Also got some new Adidas trainers from Foot Locker, £15 discount..

All in all, it wasn't as good as its cracked up to be!
 
i went passed a Next shop today and it said from 3.30am tomorrow its sale starts..and that EVERYTHING is half price or less? Is this true, every single item? And is it the same in all stores, ie do they open at 3.30am?
