Totally stuck on Benezia, I get killed in like 10 seconds by those boxes she picks up.

I've got to the second wave a couple of times but I'm on my own by then and just die, any tips?

Did it anyway, I thought 'cos I was level 15 I couldn't do it but I just ran behind the big monster cage and picked them off.

That's the bit which caused me the most frustration.

Only tip I can personally offer is to simply forget about it until you have a high level. Get some good armour (the most you can get), and make sure you're shields are fully charged to the maximum before going in.

As soon as one of those birds comes over the gangway, shotgun her and run up, taking her partner out and keep running.

Two more will come in, hopefully giving you and your squad time to recover and reduce any weapon overheat.

Take them out in the same way and wait for 4 of them to come in, from them on just run around the area and hope your squad can take them out. Use plenty of Overkiils, any biotecs you have the lot.

It's damn frustrating I know.

Just did it mate but thanks incredibly for the help :P

hehe, I just learned to run behind the cage so she couldn't shoot me and hide a lot lol!

Gotta tackle the bit after though now.

Sounds like you killed his wife when they were under the Thorian's control. Oopsie.
 
I had to kill one of the crappy 'colonist' peeps, 'cause I ran out of nades. And then came on here to find that you can just whack 'em. Oh well, I have the explosive rounds IX on my shotgun and I'd probably have accidentally shot them and sent them flying into the distance anyway ^_-
 
Guys, I got the achievement where you must have 1,000,000 credits earlier, apparently this unlocks some uber weapons? Where can I actually buy these?

Infact I have about 4,000,000 credits now :D

Also the game seems to have gotten ridiculously easy now? I've been playing 20 hours roughly. The first 10 hours were WAY harder. Now it's just too easy, I can't even die, I take down anything way too easy, there's no challenge anymore. This is my first playthrough and I selected the hardest difficulty setting.

The one million credits unlocks the Spectre weapons which can be purchased from the weapons officer in the hold of the Normandy of from C-Sec.

It does get easy once you obtain the X series spectre weapons. Even Hardened isn't much. However Insanity is a lot more challenging as your enemies use their full range of powers. I've just visited a lab on some random planet that was overrun with Thorian Thralls. That mission alone took me ages because they're so tough.
 
Ahahahaha, I just did the bit where you have to choose between Ashley and Liara. Naturally I went with the threesome option :p The look on your characters face when he says it is hilarious! :D This game owns :D
 
This Benezia fight is very close to making me sell this game. It is absolutely ******* impossible. I am at the final bit in front of her and it cannot be done. No ******* way can I kill her, plus I have no other save games so either I beat her, or start the game again (which I am not doing)

I always take the wrong people for the job, I have Ashley and that useless whorebag Liara. I am level 18 soldier.

Edit: I should point out that I have killed her a couple of times but by that time I have so little health and the other 2 useless ******* are dead, the asari soldiers just run at me and kill me.

Liara is actually very powerful with biotic moves - just tell her to use them. As others have said that bit took me a while... the first woman to run at you I used lift on her, then Ash + Liara took her out, killed the next woman then moved to the other side of the room to kill the snipers (you just have to dodge the snipers fire). The bit after that I made sure my two squad members blocked the way so those commando women couldn't charge at me, again I just threw or lifted them :)

Also has anyone got any of the ally achievements? I'm wondering just how much of the game you have to play through before you get them. Ive done most of the assignments (if not all) from the citadel and I'm busy doing the UNC ones now. Ive done the three mission planets also...

I am on the second bit though, all of them (including that whore Benezia) just chases after you. You can't hide or recharge anything.

None of Liara's things seem to do anything

Ah right well on my first playthrough I cant really remember as I did that bit without dying - just throw the B**** to the floor - or lift her in the air, get rid of her first then work on the rest by tossing them over etc. Use carnage if you can. The best thing to use is probably barrier but I always ALWAYS stayed up in the area where it starts you off. Dont worry you'll do it and once you have, if you play through again like me you will pwn her :)
 
I just maxxed out the achievements for ME. Had a blast getting everything and still aren't bored! It's easily my best 360 game, but one I'll put away for now.

It took 3 play throughs to reach Lv60 and get the majority of the achievements.
I then made a Biotic to get the biotic achievements (singularity, throw etc) which took a single play through.
Lastly I made an engineer to get the engi achievements (neural shock, ai hacking etc)

I have to admit Biotic's are uber. I thought Soldiers would rule all, but my Lv45 Biotic would run rings around my Lv60 soldier.

Ok, well I am a level 18 soldier. I am rubbish at these games so take it that I am probably only as good as a level 14 soldier. The only skill I really have is overkill which is maxed out and sniper is pretty high as well.

I have Liara with me and Ashley. who only really has overkill as well.

About 3 times out of 5 I can kill Benezia, it seems like luck more than anything, by doing a warp with liara straight away, I annoyingly have my Sniper rifle attached so I fire off one Assasination shot and put overkill on Ashley. I then switch to Rifle and stick overkill on. It always then seems to say BLOCKED when I try and do any more of liaras skills. SOmetimes I can get Benezia down but then I am killed by the guards. Othertimes Benezia knocks me to the floor and my character lies there while he is shot to death.

People keep saying "Use throw to throw her off the edge" How do I do that? If I tell Liara to do it, Benezia doesn't move. Are Liara's skills not high enough? (even though throw is maxed out)
