So i'm just sitting here thinking, is adding paintstripper to vodka bad?
Just wondering because someone bought along a bottle of absolut rasberry with a secret ingradient that made it taste like water, with no burn, turned out to be a quarter paintstripper, anyone else ever heard of it.

There's a couple of "cheap" places here in Liverpool which essentially sell you god awful vodka.

Years ago in the Blue Angel (the "Raz" :)), I bought a double vodka lemonade and knocked a little bit off the top when I put the glass down such that a little ring of fluid was around the base of the glass. When I lifted the glass - a matching ring of varnish had been lifted off the table. :/

Sounds like a really daft idea, are you sure it wasnt glycerin they added? that can help mellow cheap vodka

According to a quick search on the internet, the least damaging ingredient (and most abundant) of paint stripper gets turned into carbon monoxide by your body, which can lead to BadThings(tm)

You would have to be absolutely CRACKERS to even DREAM of drinking paint stripper.

Sorry but I really have a hard time believing that. You would have to be so monumentally stupid to add a quarter of stripper to a solution as to be of interest to medical science.

Could you please show what is says on the side on the paintstripper bottle... I'm sure it says harmful if consumed....

FWIW, anti-freeze tastes sweet, bit I exactly didn't rock up to my local and order a vodka and anti-freeze mix

I drank a whole cup of anti-freeze years ago, tasty but not worth it. Ended up in a hospital trip. Paintstripper and vodka sounds pretty stupid too.
