MM U2 UFO

hi guys, been a while since i posted here but im back looking for some info.

im going to buy a MM U2 UFO, going for the black and orange theme. wont be water cooling yet, going for a complete fan setup.

questions:

what is this case like with just air cooling, will i see a drop in cpu and gpu temps?

what size are the LEDs 3mm or 5mm as they will be changed to orange?

The case is fine for air cooling although most who buy it, buy it for its watercooling friendly space.

The LED is 5mm.

I'm considering a black and orange theme tho mine will be WC'd.

i know its a water coolers case, but it just looks so good. are the LEDs easy to change?

what about the switches? can they be changed to rocker switches?

i doubt you'd see a drop in gpu/cpu temps over any traditional case with good airflow.

marci who sells them would probably back me up.

really come into their own when WC'ing which is why most of us get them.

I'm running my UFO on air at the moment and all my temps have dropped compared to my akasa eclipse.

yea, ill be getting mine from there. ive got a TT shark with 120mm's 2 in front 1 in back. q6600 at 3.2 load under 40c. no sure what the gpu is, 60c sounds familiar

whats the best combo of intake and exhaust in this case, i have 9 120mm ambers. i will be using 2x zalman fan controllers

I have the front 4 as intakes & the other 5 as exhausts.

if you get one with a metal top panel, you will always have a handy seat at LAN's too.

For one i have room for 2 120.3 thermochill rads up front and 120.2 at the rear,so there is plenty of room for any watercooling combo i care to do .

You can run air if you like as if and when you want to take the plunge and watercool your case is ready to go.

You can buy the smaller MM H2GO case ideal for taking to lan party`s as it`s smaller the it`s big brother.

As for the leds and switch change,yes both are very easy to do.
