OcUK Forum Trolls - WoW Guild

I am to be honest, heard bad things about my battlegroup.. Just didn't want to be horde after having chars for years, I needed something new to start again.

Will consider x-fering battlegroups if it gets so bad

Long way to go yet though, almost level 30

can we get this thread as a sticky... ? as i see the Guild Wars guild thread is sticky!

Oh come on you lot. It is a PvP server = Player vs. Player.

Why would you want a MOD that will take up more cpu (OK not much) and slow the game down too! (Again not much).

Firstly if mods are slowing the game down then its time to upgrade! I have about 15 running without any effect whatsoever. Secondly, if youre doing quests, gathering herbs or using the auction without certain mods then you are wasting a huge chunk of levelling time and gold. Its up to you of course, about what type of game you want to play, but for me I want efficient levelling and maximising gold and mods help that 1000%. unfortunately I cant play as much as I used to last time so efficient use of time is crucial!

As for Kill On Sight, I guess again its up to you. But for me, I get annoyed when I get ganked. I get really annoyed when I get corpse camped. But with KoS I kow that one day I will spot this guy amidst a crowded battlefield, and he will be dazed with the ghostly outline of a Rogue behind him, desperately mashing his keys but knowing theres no way to avoid whats about to come. If you havent tried a revenge kill, i'd recommend it, its a real satisfying moment. Then you can go about making their life miserable.

KOS is fun... C-Camping is just boring.. if you get CC'd, log onto another char for an hour. Leave them sat there hehe, love it when i do it as horde seem to hate my shadow spec priest a lot... odd they leave my mage alone most times though...

Still, now ive change sides.. time to go harras allies hehe....

That doesn't say "recently rolled" to me.
That says lots of instances and no life for the last year ;)

I recently rolled from the US version to the EU. That is the US link you got.

Where did I go on about every MOD out there? Please at least stay on topic, MODs will slow the game down (perhaps you do not notice) in any case regardless of what PC you generally use. I was giving my opinion on a particular MOD I originally thought to be useless by taking down names of ppl that kill you on a PvP server (still do think it is useless). The general point of my post was to explain PvP happens on a PvP server, that means getting killed while questing if it happens.

I use MODs as I need them when raiding end game, but I keep it to a minimum.

Oh right, you were pointing out the obvious. I hope everyone knows PvP happens on a PvP server! If not, im sure that was useful.

I just made an orc warrior, but tbh i think im better off going hunter at this time, but what race would be best? Think ill go troll, since i didnt like the orc starting place :p

Add-ons arent for everyone, especially those who want to 'experience' the game. But if you do feel the need to reconfigure the UI or get (legal) help on your WOW journey, add-ons are for you. As space is precious, thought i'd just see which add-ons people thought were useful. The top three for me:

Auctioneer - Advanced Auction info, do a couple of scans and you will get an idea of what an item is worth by hovering over it, what the current lowest bid is, plus additional items like what something will break down into.

Lightheaded is a Quest assistance interface. Firstly it displays the quest info next to the Quest page (might handy) and then displays some comments about where the mobs can be found, what you need to do to complete the quest etc.

All in One Inventory and Bank - So you’ve been out looting and you’ve got gold distributed throughout various bags. Instead of clicking each bag, you can use the All in One Inventory mod to combine your bags together.
