CTC does anyone know how much you get for 3 kids?

If it was that easy to find then why ask and risk the potential flaming???:confused:
Sorry, but if I was having kids then the Last thing on my mind would be how much CB I would get.
Sell the pc and put it in their trust fund - - winner;)

Why its flaming is cos theres little kiddies that post about some thing they dont know and i found the links after and it only realy answers one Question

i have savings i work and so does the wife but yet theres still people that think am living of the state when its the govement that set this up and i would say most the pop of the uk are claiming either child tax or working tax or both

its a boost that the govement give out

I'm far from being a kiddie, just gets on my nerves that I work bloody hard for a living yet I get penalised for it whilst others get cash given to them for free.

so u earn over £60k p/a then ? if the answer is no then you can also claim

i can see where your coming from and understand but am not on the doll and i do work and pay tax'ies

Why are there such morons in GD?! Do you use this place to vent or something?! He asks and simple question an up rolls five or six posters trying to be as funny/witty/offensive as they can. We all know why you do it...so please, if you must carry on like this, at least put some effort in instead of just looking a bit lame.

Those that did help..kudos.

CB = Child Benefit
TY = Thank You

i have no idea what the O is for.

At the end of the day, if the guy is going to take child benefit, he will do so. I doubt there is anything anyone can say on this board that is going to stop him from claiming it. So, its not really worth trying to convince him or anyone else, otherwise.

Oh and what about CTC?

The gov. round up a persons income and provide child benefit to assist with day to day living.

Dunno if you 've got kids, but if you have you're getting the same assistance as everybody else. And if you're earning under 60k you can get working tax credits yourself.

whys that then?
I must be on of the few moral people in this land that thinks that YOU should pay for your own kids etc.
I earn a decent living and could afford to have kids on what the government hands out but I haven't.
I'm actually straying off topic from what the original OP posted, but he answered his own question so I suppose my intended sarcasm is now lost.

The guy posted in a general discussion forum and people are discussing by posting their opinions on the matter, is that not allowed?

My reasons for my comments were already given, some may agree and some may not.

I do have a child yes, but don't qualify for CTC. Yet I'm still expected to pay into the system that pays the cash out. Yes maybe a personal rant but I'd prefer just to pay my own way and not be forced to assist those that can't.

I think it says more about the person whose nose it gets up rather than the OP to be honest. Nothing wrong with child support (an no i don't have kids, but i have a niece and anything extra that can help her when she's growing up is fine by me)

why would it be immoral to collect benefits from the government? the CTC is there to help familys with low income, so if your spouse gets pregnant then you would consider what benefits you could get

so what your saying is no one should have Child beneift then? its some thing that is given to all mums and dads as std

and child tax crd is paid also to mums and dads as long as they earn under 60k

It is my opinion that you should be able to wholly fund your children's upkeep. If this means you are limited to one then so be it. Now I understand that you asked a genuine question and that I did not have the answer to so I posted a bit of firmly tongue in cheek humor. You then start calling people kiddies and that is just going to wind people up.

Just go to the appropriate Government website or ring the helpline number and I am sure you will get the answer you need.

I cannot change the system but I don't like working hard to pay for my family whilst my hard earned tax goes on unemployment benefits, working tax credits and child tax credits. Like I said if you cannot afford it then don't do it. This applies to buying LCD TV's, cars etc that you can't afford as well as having babies that the state has to pay for...

That last bit does not directly apply to you as it is just my opinion.

Welcome to an Internet discussion forum! ;) :p

so would you claim tax credits knowing that your were entitled to them if you had a kid?
