Whos part of a car club?

GT4OC

Was a member of NPOC, good group of guys but i'm not paying £20 a year to join a club for a car I don't own!

When I come to OcUk motors meets I tell my folks I'm part of a motors club and going for a meet...:o

Just Cliosport at the moment as a paid up member, but knock about on a few other random car boards :)

Just out of interest, does anyone mind telling me what they pay for a years membership and what you get for it? I'd like to make sure the Mk1 Club is charging the 'going rate' as it were.

We charge £21 for a years membership, with a quarterley magazine and discounted entries into various shows. When we get a decent website, we will have a members only area on there too.

no car clubs but fully paid up member of
http://forum.disabledbiker.co.uk/
The National Association for Bikers with a Disability
they are a charity that help bikers who have had an accident get back on the road
ie peeps who have had arms/legs amputated or in my case peeps who are paraplegic or any disability

and a member of
ukbusas.org

Paid up member of UK FiestaNetwork and Volvo Owners Club, but don't visit either any more.

I paid £15 to become a member of STOC (st owners club), its not really been worthwhile, as the car is too new for it to fair and for me to need info on how to fix it.

I was a member of PGAC, Peugeot GTI club back in the day and that was worth every penny.

Im also a member of the STOWNERS club:p

I paid £10.50 a year for escortEVO.

I got 2 free stickers of my choice
Discount for insurance
Discount from certain car part websites like performance direct
Discount at certain ford garages

Well worth it :)

UKFN was £10 per year 4-ish years ago when I paid, but has been so shambolic with the promised scheme that no subsequent payments have been taken. I was a moderator on there but left as it was too embarrassing to be connected with.

The volvo owners club was about £30, but was very well organised with quarterly magazines and a good discount scheme. Shame I don't have a volvo any more!

VX Owners Club
SELOC - Lotus owners Club
Z22SE.co.uk - z22se engine owners group
Lotus On Track - Lifetime membership

BMW Owners Club is £45 a year. Benefits include discounted insurance, discounts on parts including BMW main dealers and the usual discount with partner organisations. When you are paying over 2K for insurance, 20% discount for £45 makes it very worthwhile.
