for dmpoole and others.

Quite liked it. :)

Although not a huge fan of the song, the lead vocals were pretty spot on and sounded very similar to the original which is a good thing. The backing vocals sounded a little bit out of harmony in a few parts in my opinion, and were a bit loud in the mix when they came in, but other than that it added a nice layer to the singing.

My biggest issue was that i couldn't hear the bass virtually at all, but that could be due to the fact that i am using some really awful little PC speakers at the moment that have 100% tone so there is no low end in anything. :o

Guitars sounded great and very classic, although a little distant. Maybe because most classic rock rhythm guitar has almost no reverb or acoustics to make it sound really sharp (AC/DC in particular). I couldn't hear that well but it sounded like the guitars weren't compressed?

Drums were spot on though. Snare and kick were really really good and really well produced. Not too loud or too quiet, and not too much reverb or compression.

Overall, brilliant recording. :)

guitars arent compressed at all tbh, its just a a close to finish mix ive been working on, it was all done and recorded yesterday so!

Can't really fault it and you've all done a cracking job.
I've heard this song weekly by every cover band ever since it was released so I've heard a few.
Singer sounded a bit soft on the verse but he's got a cracking voice when he pushes it.
Excellent.

currently working on thunderstruck, half way there!

I know nothing about music other than what I do or don't like.

I do like that, it's very good.

Really well produced, eh? Can you not tell the difference been a natural and sampled kit? Infact, the drum samples sound VERY familiar, ezdrummer? They also sound programmed. Everything else was spot on, good job, vocals were nice, what mic are you using for vox?

who said there sampled?

Of course they do?  You're obviously completely tone deaf, and neoni's a blatant liar, simple. But sure, deny it all you want, i don't really care.

haha they are ezdrummer ;) or are they just chopped and processed to hell?

But they are, and i recognised it, you didn't. Sampled drumkits of today are a little more realistic than the 808, 909 kits you are thinking of. Get with the times, boy. You'll need to, for that fancy music degree. :)

if your talking to me, im already 1/2 way through my degree.
