First experiance of raod rage :/

Should have just pointed out to her that her life expectancy is low enough what with her being a fat cow, and told her not to stress herself out anymore because she will lower it even more.

Should have just laughed at her. Nothing more irritating than someone laughing at you when you are ****** off.
haha, that is so true, its my favourite wind up tactic for road rage incidents when people just come at me out of the blue as if Ive done something wrong.

I had one last night behind me and on my bumper with full beams!

A whacked on the fog light and hey presto, wound him up a treat,
he backed off then started shacking his head at the traffic lights beside me.

I normally give them a little brake test in the dry :D

Andy

That works too.. esp if they get up behind you.. and if they hit you, you can say that you had to do an emergency stop because thought a child was going to run into the road :)

What really scares me about road rage is my mate that always keeps a weapon near by in his car just in case....

Or my other mate whe keeps a paint ball gun in the car and shoots the rear window of any car that annoys him......

I'm an extremely calm driver, but if someone puts my life in danger then I do go a bit mental. :o I did chase a cyclist down once that had jumped a red light and scraped himself down the side of my car (leaving nice deep gauge marks) whilst hitting my car for being a "****". Wait a second mate, YOU jumped the red light and ran into ME! As I got out of the car he pegged it (on his bike), I caught up with him and I'm embarrassed to say I got out of the car and pushed him hard off his bike :o Fortunately for me I was twice his size but to be honest I was so livid I'd have given Mike Tyson a round. Not my proudest moment, but deserved IMO.

I don't bother policing people's driving anymore, except maybe on the motorway with MLM's I just let them act like cocks and worry about my immediate safety.

As said just smiling/laughing at them usually annoys them but it can cause them to maybe do something more stupid as they get more and more irate with you.

This one time I pointed at their rear wheel and said they had got a flat :p Look on their face is priceless. They thought I was winding my window down to hurl counter abuse.

I'm about as calm as drivers can get and it's funny seeing how people can get themselves so worked up about something so trivial.

I always just point and laugh at them, it drives them absoloutely mental. If they get out, then so do I. I wont feel threatened by some hard nosed ***** in their transit.

It's bad, but i always carry a bar with me now, after a previous incident where someone went for me with some timber, luckily i came off better.

My cousin had an incident where a guy rang him off the road. The Range Rover then reversed up on the front of his Supra and went forward again. My cousin is not a small bloke and got out to confront the "attacker". The guy got out his range rover with a knife or something in his hand, so my cousin ran back to the car and managed to start it.

He was really shook up, but the whole thing was caught on CCTV and the guy went to jail. His excuse was that he was in a rush to get to his daughters 13th birthday....

I would therefore never condone anyone to incite road rage or get involved as you never know what the other person is capable of... they could be smacked up, or have a weapon or even a nutter who won't care about following you home/till you stop.

If someone did get out on me, I very much doubt they would expect me to get out of a bright blue Mini (I'm very well build and nearlly 6'4 :D)

Just do what my dad has done a couple of times with morons tailgaiting.

Someone was right up his backside so he calmy stopped, got out, opened his boot and walked over to the car following and told him that if he "wanted to have a look in the ******* boot, now's your chance".

Of course, my dad has quite a way with words sometimes, and far more courage than I have. Just ensure you don't pick on someone bigger than yourself ;)

Whatever you do, if you haev a BMW driver tailgating you at 80mph on a dual carriageway dont flick him the bird as he overtakes you, bimmer drivers seem to take great pride in following you after you do that :p

Could be worse. I was on a road with 2 lanes and it was murging into one lane.. So murging in turn with me in the left lane this plumbers van was almost touching the bumper of the car in front (in the lane to my right) to try and jump in. So I didnt let him so he went balistic beeping, waving his hands, beeping his horn, I just ignored which was fine till the stream of traffic stopped at a set of traffic lights half a mile on. He actually got out and started walking towards my car. He was about twice the size of me so I kinda locked the door. Luckily the lights had gone green and I pulled away just as he was reaching for my door handle. He ran back to his van and persued me. Luckily his rubish little van was no match for my mighty 1.2 punto and I lost him :)

But why didnt you just back off a bit and let him in ?, I hate it when your say at traffic lights in the right hand lane and when it merged into one some one in the left comes up the inside of you to stop you pulling in, the car on the right is forced into on coming traffic and your meant to give room for over taking traffic anyway.
I don't see any sense in not letting some one in ..unless its road works and they have had 3 miles warning and they are just trying to get to the front of the que.

Because it was two slow moving streams of traffic merging into one and this is meant to be done in turn, with each car leaving enough room for the next car to murge in. And he was clearly being a *word-I-cant-use* and trying to queue jump.
