"Iran's Revolutionary Guards say the US navy fabricated evidence that a convoy of its ships was harassed by Iranian speedboats in Gulf waters on Sunday.

The US has released grainy footage, apparently showing small boats speeding near the American warships."

So they condense 20 mins into 4, then add fake voice overs to the video? I get fake voice over from BBC news (TV).

I guess there getting desperate, i just hope Brown as the testicular fortitude to keep out of this one.

A good time to resign from US armed forces if you're already signed up..either that or just strike a superior officer.

The BBC are reporting that Iran's saying the US has made this up.

The BBC aren't reporting that the US has made this up.

There's a difference that I feel you've missed.

No, I'm saying they made up the voice over, which is what BBC and Five news have reported.

But the chances are they also made up the video, since when does it say on the side of the speed boats "Iran elite guard, i come blow your ship lolz"

Chances are its some drug runners or marines in jump jackets.

Where in that BBC article do they report that the voice-over was made up?

They report the Iranians saying it was made up.

The confrontation looks and sounds perfectly feasible to me. Nothing dodgy at all, well apart from the idiots in the Iranian boats thinking that they can somehow get close enough to do any damage.

Again are you skim reading?

Yeah i agree, if you read the BBC news article at the bottom it says...

"An Iranian foreign ministry spokesman said: "This... happens for the two sides every once in a while and, after the identification of the two sides, the issue is resolved." "

The alleged Iranian speaking on the radio recording sounds like someone making a prank phone-call to me :D

The actual war would be over in a matter of days if we decided to go in - just like Iraq.

Think that you under estimate their capabilities.. but I agree with your other points.

I would indeed blew the **** out of those speed boats... 20 minutes of that would justify shooting them. They could be carrying explosives like that Al-Queda suicide dingy.

I'm really surprised that they didn't shoot the boats... considering how trigger happy the Americans are.

Isn't that what they said in Vietnam, and Iraq II?
Post war Iraq is hardly peaceful.

Bush should be arrested by the UN and put up for war crimes.
