Thought they want rid of Sheppard because he kept sacking managers.
 
I cant believe this. allardyce was ideal for sorting newcastle... newcastle need to realise they are NOT a big club, and get used to where they are in the table.
 
Its sad. As Sam said in the past couple of days, to turn around the Newcastle mess it will take years not months.

Shearer maybe the fans favourite but hes not right for the job.

I wonder where Sam would go now.

Maybe Bolton get shot of Megson and Sam goes back there?
 
What a joke!! Say about hit the panic button!! When are chairman going to realise that when you bring a new manager in, he needs quite a bit of time to clear the mess of previous managers and to get his own playing style and methods in place.

Remember Fergie took a while to get the team and style he wanted!!

So their already touting Shearer for manager ? well its not like he could do any worse to be honest... although i'm being told Jol is rumored
 
Welp, there goes their best chance of sorting their mess out for some time.

EDIT: If reports from the Spuds are to be believed, I wouldn't think Martin "No no lads, you have some more pies, don't you worry about that defense practice" Jol would be any good a replacement.

Ah yes...the old "by mutual consent" crap, how come nobody ever resigns or gets sacked these days. Its always "by mutual consent". What the hell does that even mean, either someone sacks you, or you resign, thats the only two ways I can see of someone leaving a job
