Getting Repaired XBox back.

My xbox is due back tomorrow from ring of death repair.

Has anyone with the older xbox, Non-HDMI, got a xbox with HDMI port returned to them?

Is there any chance of this happening?

I know someone who got back a newer manufactered Xbox 360, It wasn't different as in having HDMI, But it had a much newer manufactering date.

So I guess it's possible, But I wouldn't hold your breath.

It was a good while ago, And the guy has had 4 different 360s. First 3 being refurbs and then they sent a new one.

Possibly decided it was unfixable

I'd say about 8 months?

How long has it taken them to send it back to you?
Mine was picked up on Monday and I am just curious about the lead time.

I got my old 360 back, fitted with a new mobo, along with a 1 month Gold subscription card.

You hear is isolated stories of the very lucky few. But the majority of the people get their old 360 returned with a new mobo.

Just wondered if microsoft still manufacture the older motherboard. If they replace it with a new motherboard, it may have HDMI on it

Well I had mine repaired in December.

New mobo with no HDMI.

I`ll let you know when mine returns, on the tracker at UPS it shows "Billing recieved " how long does it take till it says shipped was hoping to myabe have it back by weekend but not looking good so far !!

mine was like that for 3 working days
